Long-Serving Council Director Farewelled
Murrumbidgee Council is today farewelling a staff member who has committed his entire career to local government and in particular the Jerilderie and district community.
Director of Technical Services David Tamlyn has accepted a redundancy offered by Council as part of the restructure which has taken place following the merger of Jerilderie Shire and Murrumbidgee Shire Councils.
Acting General Manager Andrew Crakanthorp described Mr Tamlyn’s 48 year commitment to public life as “outstanding”.
“We wish David all the best and thank him for his enormous contribution,” Mr Crakanthorp said.
His last day of service is Monday 24 July 2017.
